The http://www.celebraterecovery.com website has registration open for the first Celebrate Recovery One Day Seminars of the 2010 calendar season. If you open the page and go to the right margin, you will find:
January 16, 2010 – San Jose, CA – One Day Seminar
February 20, 2010 – Houston, TX – One Day Seminar
March 6, 2010 – Portland, OR – One Day Seminar
March 20, 2010 – Orlando, FL – One Day Seminar
...as the first events of the new year.
With the Christmas and New Year holiday well behind us, I would remind you to get a date on the calendar, and plan to take others with you. One of the best considerations remains the great opportunity to network with others and the Celebrate Recovery Inside noon-time session.
As you seek to model the best practices and DNA of an authentic Celebrate Recovery ministy, it makes sense to connect with other leaders and teams that have made the same commitment to excellence in ministry. Connecting with others within a reasonable driving distance will insure a steady stream of testimonies to share.
In addition to meeting Pastor John and Cheryl Baker and other presenters from the national leadership team, the upcoming seminars are great places to meet your Celebrate Recovery Inside State Representative or Regional Director. Each member of the team is ready, willing, and able to help you and your church Celebrate Recovery ministry be an effective outreach to others in your church, local prison, jail or re-entry facility.
May God richly bless you, your family, and your CR ministry team as you embark on the many exciting things God has prepared for 2010!

Get On Board
Just wanted to wish everyone a Christ-filled New Year and let everyone know that God is doing some awesome work through both Celebrate Recovery volunteers and through those currently doing time in prisons, jails and re-entry facilities throughout the country.
As volunteers, we get a front row seat to see God transform inmates truly from the inside out. It's certainly the place to be in 2010.
If you have a heart to serve on the 'inside' and aren't sure how to proceed and would like to know who your CR Inside State Rep is for your state, please feel free to contact me by email at hectorl@saddleback.com or 949-973-0412.
Thanx for visiting our blog - Hector Lozano, National Director - Celebrate Recovery Inside

Inmates Leading Inmates
God is using John Griggson and his Louisiana CR Inside Team mightily, here are just some of the highlights in the West Monroe area alone. Richwood Correctional Center there are now approximately 120 men participating in Step Study, led with the help 14 mentors who graduated the first Step Study. At Ouachita Correctional Center there are 40 men participating in the new Step Study, this is the facility's second. There is also a 2nd women’s Step Study as well. White’s Ferry Road Church has generously provided this ministry with a house that is on church property to launch a recovery house for men. It will house approx 6-7 men and be a great blessing to this ministry. We are very excited about the opportunities God is giving this ministry, please keep this project in your prayers. Re-entry remains a top priority and we are continuing our efforts to improve re-entry by having CRI volunteers contact (by request) family members of inmates and getting them involved with CR prior to their family members release, to give the inmate a strong foundation in CR to come home to.
